Quality Hotel Grand Falun

The property looks pretty unremarkable from the outside, so I was very (pleasantly) surprised when I stepped through the doors and saw how cosy, comfortable and inviting they have made the space. It’s absolutely beautiful and whoever designed and decorated really made sure to make it feel like a warm place that you want to spend time in. The room itself was quite small but because of the luxurious touches and friendly atmosphere I was perfectly happy in my little room (where admittedly usually I can feel quite claustrophobic in smaller spaces) Simple things, like the lovely coffee corner, the apples in a bowl, filtered water all available freely makes it feel so welcoming and kind of like you’re at home in some way. The lighting was fantastic - I don’t like overhead lighting and this hotel management has understood the importance of warm light and well thought out light placements to add a sense of comfort and relaxation to the space. The hotel breakfast was top tier. I stay in a lot of hotels and the spread was amazing and excellent quality. But also the setting with those beautiful murals and that reworked courtyard - it’s just stunning. I stayed here on my own, so I did not avail of the games in the lounge but if I had traveled here with somebody I could have spent many hours in that lounge area. I definitely will book back in next time I have an excuse to go to Falun.

Breakfast was excellent, atmosphere nice. Good gym. It was great to have a self service kitchen in use, to have an own snack. Location of the hotel was in the middle of the city, close to walking street, restaurants and shops if you need anything. Interesting historical Falu Gruva close to the hotel.

The indoor parking, the friendliness of the staff, really wanted to make our stay a "home away from home".

THE BREAKFAST WAS VERY GOOD AS IT HAD LOTS TO CHOOSE FROM . THE HOTEL IS A GOOD LOCATION AS THERE LOTS OF RESTURANTS AROUND THAT AREA .

A great stay - everything I needed in a hotel and the staff were brilliant making me feel welcome on a rainy day when I arrived. I'll definitely be back.
